The Retail Payment Activities Act is now a reality, and other financial sector policy initiatives are gaining momentum — including open banking and payments modernization, which includes the expansion of access to Canada’s modernized payment systems.
“With Canada now falling behind undeveloped nations, coupled with a complex layer of distribution between banks and paytechs, Zum Rails feels its voice needs to be heard even more to help shape the future of payments to help every business, big or small,” said Milewski. “Given our software heavy focus, we believe that by being part of the Fintechs Canada we can help demonstrate to all those in the supply chain what we are capable of to elevate the industry as a whole and be partners to all involved from banks and government to every business and organization here in Canada.”
