Fintechs Canada welcomes Truly Financial as its newest member

Fintechs Canada is thrilled to announce that Truly Financial has joined the association.

“Truly Financial is working to simplify banking for small businesses, who disproportionately feel the inefficiencies of the Canadian financial system,” said Laurence Cooke, chairperson of the Fintechs Canada’s board. “Our financial sector should be judged on the basis of how well it serves Canadians, not the sector’s incumbents, and so we’re happy to join forces with Truly Financial and their noble purpose.”

Truly Financial provides easy access to local and international banking services for SMBs who buy or sell globally. With a single access to checking accounts, multi-currency accounts and corporate Visa cards, businesses can receive payments, hold in different currencies and pay suppliers and employees in any country.

“The deep involvement and expertise at Fintechs Canada is a positive force for payments modernization in Canada and we are excited to participate with them in bringing innovation and global best practices to the benefit of Canada’s payments ecosystem,” said Sandeep Todi, co-founder and chief business office of Truly Financial. “We see a significant synergy between Paytechs and our efforts to make faster and better payments available to SMBs in Canada.”
