Fintechs Canada welcomes Flinks as its newest member

Fintechs Canada is thrilled to announce that Flinks has joined the association.

“An enabler of open banking and eliminator of frictions, Flinks is a big part of the revolution of financial services in Canada,” said Laurence Cooke, the chairperson of Fintechs Canada’s board. “They’ve been just as active and ambitious in the crucial public policy conversations happening in Canada today, and so we’re proud to be able to add their capable and credible voice to our own.”

Flinks joins the association at a good time, as Fintechs Canada continues the push for modernized financial sector regulation to promote the best possible future for fintech in Canada.

“Flinks is excited to join Fintechs Canada and be a part of their mission to increase competition in Canada’s payments sector,” said Yves-Gabriel Leboeuf, CEO of Flinks. “Canadian consumers stand to benefit from reduced transaction costs, and we believe Fintechs Canada is a formidable agent of change to help our country get there.”
