CoinSmart joins Fintechs Canada

Fintechs Canada is excited to welcome CoinSmart to the association.

“Fintechs Canada continues to grow on its mission to promote responsible innovation, knocking down barriers to entry and managing emerging risks,” said Alex Vronces, Executive Director of Fintechs Canada. “As one of Canada’s registered crypto exchanges, CoinSmart’s dedication to the mission is obvious, and so we’re honoured to have them join the cause.”

As the federal government continues to explore their approach to overseeing cryptocurrency and stablecoins, now is the time for fintechs to be actively engaged in the process.

“We are so pleased to partner with Fintechs Canada, an organization who shares in our deep commitment to promote responsible innovation here in Canada,” said Justin Hartzman, President and CEO of CoinSmart.  “Our membership will help contribute to our ongoing mission of making cryptocurrency accessible by simplifying the complex and providing a voice and perspective on the world of cryptocurrency as it continues to evolve and shape opportunities for consumers, investors, and the economy overall.”

About CoinSmart

CoinSmart started in 2018 with a mission to make cryptocurrency accessible. Setting out to achieve this with a trusted and transparent approach; becoming one of the first crypto asset trading platforms in Canada to be registered as an MSB with FINTRAC as well as a Restricted Dealer and Marketplace with the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) and becoming a publicly traded firm on the NEO Exchange.

CoinSmart  continues on this mission by extending services and capabilities to businesses, through its SmartPay service, so that businesses could not only buy and sell cryptocurrency safely, but can  utilize digital assets as a more diversified and cost-saving payment option.  With CoinSmart’s strong foundation as a regulated, licensed and publicly traded company, in addition to its innovative approach to crypto payments, invoicing, trading, autosell wallets and crypto withdrawals, CoinSmart believes the time is now for all Fintechs to make their collective voices heard and to continue to down the path of responsible innovation here in Canada.
